Man who allegedly stole pensioner's ATM card further remanded

The man who allegedly stole a pensioner's ATM card last Monday has been further remanded in custody.

Niraj Prasad has been told to file a formal bail application.

                                               

He appeared before Magistrate Charles Ratakele this morning.

Prasad says he had filled out his bail application on Friday, but does not know his lawyer's name.

He will appear again before the court on Wednesday for his bail hearing.
