A man in his late 20s from Vunika in Labasa has lost his life following an unfortunate accident along the Vou tramline this morning.
Police says the circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.
Police have questioned both the 58-year-old locomotive driver and his co-driver as investigations continue.
A post mortem examination will be conducted to ascertain cause of death.
