A man has died after an alleged stabbing incident at Batinivuriwai Settlement in Wainunu, Bua, early this morning.
Police say it is alleged that the man was involved in a brawl at the Batinivuriwai settlement bus shelter.
They say the victim was discovered lying down near the roadside with a stab wound on his chest.
He was conveyed to Wainunu Health Centre, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Police investigation into the incident is underway.
