A 26-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to allegedly murdering a 55-year-old man in Labasa following a dispute over non-payment for sexual services.
Ananaiasa Ono Junior is alleged to have stabbed the man with a kitchen knife on 3rd May this year.
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions says the victim was reportedly a client of the accused.
Ono Junior is charged with one count of murder.
The case has been adjourned to 28th August for a pre-trial conference, and Ono has been further remanded in custody.
