A man in his 30s from Sarava, Ba, has been charged after allegedly posting a photo of drugs for sale in a Viber chat group.
Police say information about the post was shared with them, following which a joint operations team conducted a raid at the man’s home.
K9 capabilities from the Fiji Detector Dog Unit detected a clear plastic containing white crystals, which were later confirmed to be methamphetamine.
Smoking apparatuses were also seized during the raid.
The accused has been charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs.
He will appear at the Ba Magistrates Court today.
