Man alleged to have caused death of Lucinta Evans charged, to appear in Nadi Court today
A man alleged to have caused the death of 28-year-old Lucinta Evans following a motor vehicle accident has been charged.

The accused is alleged to have been driving a vehicle that caused an accident in Martintar on the morning of the 28th of March 2026, resulting in Evan's death.

Police say following consultations with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, the accused has been formally charged with 1 count of manslaughter.

The accused will appear in a special court sitting at the Nadi Magistrates' Court today.
