Male nurse to take plea on 28th May for allegedly raping co-worker

A registered male nurse will take his plea on the 28th of May for allegedly raping his co-worker.

The alleged incident occurred at a medical facility in the Central Division on 26th September, last year.

DPP lawyer Yelena Sautu informed Justice Siainiu Fa’alogo Bull at the Suva High Court that they need more time to provide information to defence.

The accused has been charged with two counts of rape.

His bail has been extended.
