Madigibuli chooses to remain silent in alleged murder case
Apisai Madigibuli, who is alleged to have murdered his 25-year-old wife in 2024, has chosen to remain silent and will not give evidence or call any witnesses in the trial.

The State concluded its case yesterday after calling 14 witnesses, including police officers, apartment staff and the deceased’s sister.

Suva High Court Judge Justice Dane Tuiqereqere says there is sufficient evidence for a case to answer against Madigibuli.

Closing submissions are scheduled for next Thursday.

It is alleged that he killed his pregnant wife at an apartment in Waimanu, Suva on April 26th, 2024.
