Let's care for our neighbours, families, and loved ones this Christmas - Seruiratu

As we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are reminded that His coming into the world marked the beginning of hope, unity, and love for all humankind.

Opposition Leader, Inia Seruiratu highlighted this in his Christmas message saying this a sacred time that calls us to reflect on these enduring values and to renew our commitment to living them in our daily lives.

Seruiratu says as Fijians, this season invites us to embrace the true meaning of Christmas by sharing with one another and caring for our neighbours, families, and our loved ones.

He says in the spirit of Christ’s birth, let us open our hearts and homes, showing kindness, generosity, and compassion to all those around us.

The Opposition Leader says Christmas is also a time for families and friends to come together, to sit, share, and rejoice in the uniquely Fijian spirit of love, laughter, and togetherness.

He says these moments strengthen our bonds, remind us of what truly matters, and reinforce the values that hold our communities and nation together.

Seruiratu says at the same time, we must remember those in our society who are less fortunate adding the love of Christ calls on us to reach out to the vulnerable, the struggling, and the forgotten, ensuring that no one is left behind during this season of joy and in doing so, we honour the true message of Christmas.

On behalf of the Opposition, he is wishing all Fijians a blessed Christmas filled with peace, love, and renewed hope.
Seruiratu says may the light of Christ guide our nation as we look forward to the year ahead.
