Suva lawyer, Shazran Abdul Lateef has been released on a $500 bail and will front the court again on February 17th.
Lateef is charged with possession of illicit drugs.
He appeared before Magistrate Sufia Hamza this morning.
He was supposed to appear for this matter on December 17th, but had to be rushed to hospital after collapsing in the Police Prosecutions Room.
It is alleged that Lateef was found in possession of 0.584 grams of methamphetamine on the 4th of December last year.
