Lateef and Maharaj-Moore's drug and bail case adjourned until tomorrow
The hearing for Shazran Abdul Lateef and Zoe Maharaj Moore's possession of illicit drugs and breach of bail conditions has been adourned to tomorrow.

State Prosecutor William Mataikabara asked the court this afternoon if the hearing could be adjourned to tomorrow as some of their witnesses that are based in the West were sick and unable to travel to Suva today.

Mataikabara says they will be calling 5 witnesses.

Lateef was represented by Joji Cakau while Maharaj Moore was represented by Legal Aid.

In this matter, Lateef and Moore were allegedly found with 6.3 milligrams of methamphetamine and 7.5 grams of marijuana o August 2019.
