Labasa Town

The Friendly North is all set to ring in the New Year with a bang as the Labasa Town Council hosts its highly anticipated street party at the Labasa bus station, marking a return after five years.

Labasa Town Council Chair Paul Jaduram highlights that the event will feature a lively mix of grog, delicious food, entertainment, and a live band playing until 1am, offering a fantastic way to celebrate the arrival of 2026.

Jaduram encourages everyone to join in the festivities, bringing their family and friends for a night full of fun and exciting activities across the town.

Jaduram adds there may be meke performances and hula dances by the Multicultural Center team, which consists of school students.
