The Fiji Kulas have departed for New Zealand as they prepare for a crucial showdown in the final stage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 Oceania Qualifiers.

Fiji is among the four teams still in contention, alongside New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and American Samoa.

The Kulas will take on hosts New Zealand at 4pm Sunday in the semi-finals this at FMG Stadium in Hamilton, while Papua New Guinea will face American Samoa at 12pm.

A win for the team will see them advance to the final next Wednesday at North Harbour Stadium in Auckland, where a place at the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil will be at stake.

Even if they fall short in the final, the runners-up will still have another opportunity to qualify through the intercontinental play-offs later this year.
