Kishore says the event offered something different for families, with American football, basketball, food and live entertainment among the activities on offer.
He says despite some rain, the atmosphere remained lively as people continued to arrive and take part in the activities.
For Kishore, another highlight was seeing people from different cultures and backgrounds coming together and enjoying the event.
He says the variety of sports, food and entertainment made the showcase an enjoyable experience for his family while also giving them an opportunity to learn more about American culture.
Kishore says he would like to see more events like the American Showcase organised in Fiji, giving families opportunities to spend time together while experiencing different cultures and activities.
