Harry Kane marked his record-equalling 125th appearance for England in style, scoring twice as England comfortably defeated the Czech Republic 3-0 in their UEFA Nations League match at Wembley.
Kane's two goals took his England tally to 91, moving him level with former goalkeeper Peter Shilton for the most appearances for the national team.
The England captain is now also closing in on another major milestone, with his 91 goals putting him on course to become the first England player to reach 100 international goals.
England went into half-time with a 2–0 lead after an own goal from Vladimir Coufal in the 27th minute and a goal from Kane in the 40th minute.
He completed his brace in the 57th minute to seal the win for England.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live Kane said he was proud to equal the appearance record and was pleased to mark the achievement with a win and two goals
He says he is not looking at setting a limit for what he can achieve and his focus remains on improving himself and helping the team, adding that he still feels as good as ever and wants to keep scoring for England.
Kane also praised his teammates, saying the team comes first and he was proud to captain the group.
The victory continues England's strong run after their 7-0 win over Croatia and a victory against the Czech Republic in Prague.
England's Nations League campaign had started with a 3-2 defeat to Spain, but three convincing wins since then have given head coach Thomas Tuchel plenty of positives.
England will next play Croatia on 13th November, before taking on Spain on 16th November for their next Nations League match.
