Kamikamica says focus now shifts to governing Fiji after perjury case dismissal
Former Deputy Prime Minister Manoa Kamikamica says his focus is now on serving the country after the dismissal of the perjury case against him.

He says yesterday's ruling has restored truth and justice.

Speaking after the ruling, Kamikamica says today marks a new chapter and it is time to move forward.

He says there is a government to run, people to lead, and preparations for the next general election.

Kamikamica also thanked his supporters from across the country for their prayers and messages of encouragement throughout the court proceedings.

When asked if he hopes to be reappointed to a ministerial portfolio, Kamikamica says that decision rests entirely with Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka.

Responding to questions about his conduct, Kamikamica says he has maintained his innocence from the beginning.

He says integrity has always been key to him.

When fijivillage got his reaction that Prime Minister Rabuka will get his positions fully restored, Kamikamica says it is the Prime Minister's decision, and he will leave it to him.

Kamikamica says he will be honoured to do whatever the Prime Minister wants him to do.
