The Junior Bula Boys have taken a big step towards the semi-finals of the OFC U-16 Men's Championship after thrashing Samoa 5-0 in Papua New Guinea.
After opening their campaign with a 2-nil win over New Caledonia, Fiji gave another commanding performance.
Shahil Prasad broke the deadlock in the 19th minute before Ryan Swami doubled Fiji's lead six minutes later.
Isoa Baselala struck just before half-time and completed his brace in the second half to put the result beyond doubt.
Fiji's fifth goal came through a late own goal by Samoa in the match.
The victory leaves Fiji in a strong position to book a place in the semi-finals.
Fiji's next match will be against Papua New Guinea at 6pm on Saturday.
The semi-finals of the OFC U-16 Men's Championship will be held next Thursday, while the final will be played next Saturday.
