Investigators Empowerment Workshop conducted to sharpen investigation knowledge

The Investigators Empowerment Workshop at the Fiji Police Academy was conducted to sharpen skills of police officers and expand their knowledge in investigation. 

Assistant Commissioner of Police Crime, (ACP/C) Mesake Waqa stressed that there are no short cuts in investigation since process and systems in place needs to be followed. 

He says shortcuts can be tempting when the pressure is on but it will lead to comprise of investigation and injustice.
 
The Chief of Crime Investigation has called on participants to restore the trust of the communities by engaging more with them. 

ACP Waqa urges participants to continue to improve on their service delivery which is responding to calls and timely updates to victims and complainants.
