India continued their march at the T20 World Cup with a crushing 93-run win over Namibia, a result that saw the defending champions break multiple records and extend their dominance in the tournament.

Asked to bat first, the defending champions posted 209-9, powered by Ishan Kishan’s 61, making him the first Indian wicketkeeper to score a T20 World Cup half-century, and Hardik Pandya’s explosive 52 off 28 balls.

Namibia's Gerhard Erasmus briefly checked India’s progress, but Pandya’s late surge ensured a daunting total.

Namibia’s chase never recovered after a steady 33-run opening stand.

Varun Chakravarthy struck twice in quick succession to derail the innings, and Hardik added two wickets as Namibia were bowled out for 116.

The 93-run margin is India’s biggest at a T20 World Cup and extends their winning streak in the tournament to 10 matches.

India next face arch-rivals Pakistan in Colombo on Monday at 1.30am, while Namibia take on the United States in Chennai.
