India is celebrating its 77th Republic Day, marking the day the Constitution of India came into force in 1950 after being adopted by the newly independent nation the previous year.

On the eve of the 77th Republic Day, President Droupadi Murmu called on citizens to strengthen their patriotic spirit and work together with the resolve of “Nation First” to make the Republic more glorious.

She extended her greetings to all Indians, expressing confidence that their lives would be filled with happiness, peace, security, and harmony.

The day is traditionally celebrated with a grand parade at Kartavya Path near India Gate in Delhi.

Meanwhile, India remains the world’s fastest-growing major economy and is steadily moving toward its goal of becoming the third-largest economy globally, despite ongoing global uncertainties.
