Imran Khan sentenced to 1 yr imprisonment for illegally transferring vehicle under court order

Imran Khan, also known as King Khan, has been sentenced to one year's imprisonment for transferring a vehicle to his brother while it was under a court restraining order.

He will serve it concurrent to the 4 years and 3 months he is currently serving for 4.1364 grams of methamphetamine possession in Suva on 7th February.

In this case, the 40-year-old transferred a vehicle that was subject to a High Court restraining order to his brother.

The restraining order also covered a $400,000 property, cash held at a local bank, and four vehicles.

While sentencing Khan, High Court Judge Justice Thushara Rajasinghe says on the 11th of June Khan pleaded guilty for breaching the condition by the High Court and disrespected rule of law.

Khan has previous 4 convictions.

He has 30 days to appeal the decision.
