The hot weather in Perth is expected to play a major role in player performance and recovery following the games in Singapore, with hydration being key to achieving peak performance this weekend.

This was shared by Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Head Coach Osea Kolinisau while speaking to fijivillage News from Perth.

Kolinisau says the team arrived last night and is settling in well, with no major injuries.

Kolinisau adds that his focus is on ensuring the players’ bodies are properly prepared and that their mindset matches the challenge ahead.

He stresses that personal well-being, particularly proper food intake and maintaining a good diet,  will be crucial in sustaining performance on the field.

The coach, whose side has led the series points standings so far, is confident the team can maintain that position in Perth this weekend.

Fiji will play Argentina at 4:20pm Saturday, they play Spain at 7:36pm, and South Africa at 10:52pm later that night.

The Cup semi finals kick off at 4.57pm Sunday with the Cup final at 9.04pm Sunday.
