Yaro Chiefs winger Tomasi Stark will make his international 7s debut for the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side at the HSBC SVNS Hong Kong 7s today.
Coach Osea Kolinisau says Stark has been performing well in local tournaments and he is hoping for a strong debut in Hong Kong.
He also highlighted that the new players are excited to be in Hong Kong, as this is the first time some of them have travelled overseas.
Kolinisau says the team had a good scrimmage session with the Hong Kong Rugby Football Club when they arrived last week.
He adds that the players are looking forward to a strong outing this weekend.

Kolinisau also confirms that Yaro Chiefs players Wame Ratuwa and Isaia Rugu will feature in the Hong Kong 10s tournament.
Meanwhile, the Fiji 7s team has a long history in Hong Kong, having won the most titles (19) since its inception in 1976.
The last time Fiji won the title was in 2019, ending their five-year winning streak.
The Fiji Men’s 7s side will begin their Hong Kong 7s campaign against Germany at 5.11pm today, followed by Great Britain at 8.21pm, before taking on France at 4.13pm tomorrow in their final pool match.
The men’s Cup quarter-finals will start at 10.03pm tomorrow, the semi-finals at 6pm on Sunday, and the final at 11.14pm on Sunday.
The Fijiana 7s side’s first pool match will be against Japan at 8.44pm today. They will then take on Brazil at 12.01am tomorrow before meeting New Zealand at 5.01pm tomorrow in their final pool match.
The women’s Cup quarter-finals will start at 9.13pm tomorrow, the semi-finals will be held at 5.14pm Sunday, and the final is scheduled for 10.35pm Sunday.
