Nigel Yogesh Singh has been found not guilty by the Suva High Court of setting fire to the QVS Club House in June last year.
Singh did not appear in court this morning, and his counsel, Etonia Veibataki, informed the court that Singh had moved to Navua.
While delivering his ruling, High Court Judge Justice Dane Tuiqereqere says witnesses had testified during the trial that the fire may have started from a mosquito coil or a lit candle.
He says there was considerable doubt that Singh had wilfully and unlawfully set the clubhouse on fire.
Singh was charged with one count of arson for allegedly setting fire to the QVS Club House in Suva.
