Flash flood alert issued for Navua, Suva, Nausori to Tailevu North and Ovalau, Kadavu, and Southern Vanua Levu
A flash flood alert remains in force for the Southern and Central Eastern Division from Navua, Suva, Nausori to Tailevu North and Ovalau, Kadavu, and Southern Vanua Levu as a heavy rain alert remains in force for the entire Fiji group.

The Nadi Weather Office says a trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain affects the group.

They say this could cause occasional rain, heavy at times and few thunderstorms over most places.

Rain is expected to ease over most places from tomorrow.

Possible impacts could include flash flooding of flood-prone, low-lying informal settlements and communities, businesses, and Irish Crossings may result in traffic disruptions.
