A Heavy Rain Alert previously in force for Fiji has now been cancelled.
The Nadi Weather Office has cancelled the alert as a weakening trough of low pressure continues to remain slow moving over the group.
However, the associated cloud bands and showers are still expected to affect parts of the country until later today.
The Weather Office says a northwest to northeast wind flow is also prevailing over the group, contributing to unstable weather conditions in some areas.
