The family of the four children involved in an alleged hit-and-run incident in Tacirua is continuing to await the outcome of Police investigations, with the fourth child now discharged from hospital.
The incident allegedly occurred when a driver hit the four children as they were walking along the road before fleeing the scene without stopping.
The family is seeking justice for the injuries sustained by the children and is awaiting further updates from Police.
When fijivillage News visited the family at Savutalele Settlement in Tacirua, the children's aunt, Tiare Ofati, showed us the condition of the three children recovering at home.
She says the family is particularly concerned about possible internal injuries as the children continue to recover.
Police have informed fijivillage News that they are awaiting the medical reports and will continue their investigations once the reports are received.
