Vehicles and families have been forced to turn back as floodwaters have covered Naqali Bridge in Naitasiri, leaving people stranded on both ends of the bridge.

The bridge is submerged in water, and making it impossible for drivers to cross safely.

A video also shows some people crossing the flooded bridge on foot, with water levels above their ankles.

Please do not venture out in flooded areas, and do not attempt to cross flooded rivers.

The rainy weather is expected to clear up by late tomorrow.
