Flood-affected families in Nadi receive non-food relief assistance

Families affected by floods due to TC Urmil in Nadi have received much needed assistance the Commissioner Western Division delivered non-food items

Government officials were on the ground delivering essential items to households in Nawaka, Nawejikuma, and Qina Settlement in Nadi.


A statement by the Government says these supplies included vital household necessities aimed at helping families begin the process of recovery and restoring a sense of normalcy after the devastation caused by the floods.

They say community members welcomed the assistance, with many households receiving items that will support their immediate needs as they clean up and rebuild.

They add the Fiji Fiji National Disaster Risk Management Office has acknowledged its generous donor partners for their continued support through the provision of these non-food relief items.
