A Flash Flood Warning remains in effect for Tavua, Rakiraki, Tailevu, the interior of Naitasiri to Nausori and Suva, and the whole of Vanua Levu, while a Flash Flood Alert is still in force for areas from Ba to Serua, including Sigatoka, Navua, and their interior areas.

A Heavy Rain Warning also remains in force for Ra, Naitasiri, Tailevu North, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti Groups.

The Nadi Weather Office says an active trough of low pressure, with associated cloud and rain, is slowly moving over the northern and eastern parts of the Fiji group and will continue to affect the country until Sunday.

Possible impacts include flooding of drains, rivers, streams, low water bridges, Irish crossings, roads, and properties in low-lying areas.

Surface flooding is expected on streets in urban areas with poor drainage, while wet roads and reduced visibility, especially during heavy rain, may increase the risk of road accidents.
