Fitness and skill alone are not enough to win.

That is the message from Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Osea Kolinisau as they prepare for the Valladolid 7s in Spain at the end of this month.

Kolinisau says sevens is a game of opportunities and told the players they can be the fittest, the favourite, or the most skilful, but they must take their chances.

He stressed that defensive execution remains the biggest concern, saying they are still bouncing off tackles.

He adds that they need to make sure their defence and communication are right.

Meanwhile, the Valladolid 7s in Spain will be held from the 29th to 31st of this month.
