FIJI Water Flying Fijian winger and current Lyon star, Jiuta Wainiqolo commonly known as the Fijian Ferrari, ended his 2025/26 Top 14 season in France in outstanding fashion, finishing as the competition’s leading try scorer with 18 tries.

The former Ratu Kadavulevu School student, who helped his school win the Dean’s Trophy in 2015, scored one try in every game for the first 7 games.

He showcased his blistering pace, attacking flair, and finishing ability to become one of the league’s most dangerous players.

Wainiqolo went on to score 18 tries in 18 regular-season appearances during the 2025/26 French Top 14 campaign, averaging an impressive one try per match.

He also etched his name into the record books by setting a new Top 14 record for the fastest hat-trick, scoring three tries in just 7 minutes and 23 seconds against Montauban.
