Fijian Drua brace for tough Sydney showdown against Waratahs

The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua are braced to take on the Waratahs in Sydney this week, fully aware of the challenge that lies ahead.

Speaking from Nadi today, Fijian Drua coach Glen Jackson emphasised the importance of tightening their defence, noting that past encounters with the Waratahs have always been closely contested.

Jackson highlighted the need for a strong start, saying the team cannot afford to play catch-up rugby against a disciplined and powerful side like the Waratahs.

He says they managed to gain a territorial advantage last week but failed to convert it into points, and that has to change this week.
