Singapore 7s champions, the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team, face a tough battle ahead after being drawn in the same pool as South Africa, Spain and defending champions Argentina for the Perth 7s this weekend.
Pool B in the men’s division is just as challenging, with France, New Zealand, Australia and Great Britain set to clash in what promises to be an explosive set of matchups.
The women’s draw is also heating up.
Fiji is in Pool A alongside New Zealand, the United States, and Japan.
Pool B features defending champions Australia, Canada, France and Great Britain.
Argentina are the current men’s champions, while Australia holds the title in the women’s division.
