Fiji Swimming Association focuses on team-building at  2-day  camp

The Fiji Swimming Association is hosting a two-day squad swim camp to focus on team building.

The Fiji Swimming Association says the activities are led by Olympians Epeli Rabua, Matelita Buadromo, Cheyenne Rova, Carl Probert, and Sharon Smith. Coaches from various clubs attended, along with parents who came to show their support.

They say the evening concluded with squad members proudly receiving their official camp t-shirts.

Meanwhile, national record holder David Tolu Young is the recipient of the Olympic Scholarship for Athletes LA 2028
A Paris 2024 Olympian and World Aquatics Championships competitor, Tolu continues to shine, claiming Gold in the 50m Freestyle at the 2025 Pacific Mini Games in Palau and multiple international podium finishes.
He is training at Arizona State University,with his sights set on breaking the 22-second barrier in the 50m freestyle, medaling at the 2026 Commonwealth Games, and making history with Fiji’s first Olympic swimming medal in 2028.

Today marks the final day of the swim camp.
