Young created history as the first Fijian swimmer to reach a Commonwealth Games final, and he will be hoping to secure another place in the final in the men's butterfly event.

Also competing in the men's 50 metres butterfly are Reuben Taylor and Hansel McCaig.

The heats will begin at 9.56pm.
