The Crest Fiji Netball team have ramped up their preparations one week out of their first game at the Netball World Cup Sydney 2027 Qualifier Oceania in Tonga.
Coach Michelle Parsons says their focus at the moment is on building their connections and coming together as a team.
Parsons says they have been doing their homework on their opposition, especially the Cook Islands who they will first play next Tuesday.
She says it is not an easy start to the qualifiers as they know every game is going to be tough.
Tonga will host the Cook Islands, Papua New Guinea, Samoa and Fiji for the week long qualifiers at the Tonga High School Indoor Stadium.
The top two teams will earn their place at next year's World Cup.
The Netball World Cup Sydney 2027 Qualifier Oceania will be held from next Monday to Friday in Tonga.
