Fiji Muslim League calls for reflection and unity this Ramadan

As Muslims begin their fasting today, the Fiji Muslim League extended its warmest wishes for the blessed month to all Muslims in Fiji and abroad.

Fiji Muslim League National President Basheer Ahmed stresses that Ramadan is a time for reflection, patience and gratitude.

He adds that it reminds people to care for one another, support those in need and strengthen their relationship with the Almighty.

Ahmed emphasises that as Muslims observe the holy month, they should also pray for Fiji and for prosperity for all who call the country home, and that fasting and prayers should inspire everyone to contribute positively to their communities and the nation.

Eid is expected to be celebrated on the 21st or the 22nd of March.
