Fiji Men's Netball team thrashed Tonga 74-26 in final match

The Fiji Men's Netball Team maintained their dominance and thrashed Tonga in the International Men’s Invitational Series final game 74-26 last night in Suva.

They dominated Tonga 78-18 in their second match, and defeating them 57-18 in the opening match.

Team manager Kelera Tuqovu told fijivillage Sports that the players enjoyed themselves in the court.

Tuqovu says the strong combination of experienced and new players in the squad, including Atama Waqanivavalagi from the Lomaiviti Club and Eroni Bavoro from Korotabu Club in Nadi blended well.

She thanked fans who attended the final game, and knew it was going to be tough with Tonga aiming for their first win while Fiji looked to complete a clean sweep of the series.

Tuqovu says the players followed their game plans effectively.


She thanked the players for their hard work and putting in the hard yards to win all the three matches.
