Fiji Football mourns passing of former National Midfielder Tuimasi Manuca

The Fiji Football Association is grieving the loss of former national team and Ba midfielder Tuimasi Manuca, who passed away following a brave fight against cancer.

Association President Rajesh Patel, together with the Board, management, staff, and the wider football community, expressed deep sorrow, remembering Manuca as a highly respected figure in the sport.

Patel says Manuca’s influence reached far beyond the field.

He says they have lost not only a footballer but a true brother of the game.

Patel says Manuca’s humility, resilience, and passion for football left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

He proudly represented both Ba and Fiji, and his legacy will continue to inspire the football community.

Patel adds Manuca was widely admired for his dedication and commitment, representing Ba and the national team with distinction.

He described the loss as a difficult moment for the football fraternity and extended heartfelt condolences to Manuca’s family.

Patel says this is a deeply painful loss for Fiji football.
