FICAC is expected to disclose documents in relation to the Volkswagen vehicle procurement case involving former Fijian Broadcasting Corporation CEO Riyaz Sayed-Khaiyum and Chief Financial Officer Vimlesh Sagar, by this afternoon.

Sayed-Khaiyum and Sagar’s respective counsel have been requesting details regarding the loss incurred as a result of the alleged offence.

The court was also informed that there are no agreed facts or documents between FICAC and the defence.

Sayed-Khaiyum and Sagar have both pleaded not guilty to charges relating to the tender and procurement of the 3.0-litre Volkswagen Touareg valued at $207,470.

The matter has been adjourned to 9th October to confirm that the defence has received the documents.
