Arsenal maintained their perfect Premier League start with a 2-0 victory over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
The match was goalless at half-time before Bruno Guimarães opened the scoring in the 58th minute with his first goal for Arsenal.
Bukayo Saka then sealed the win from the penalty spot in the seventh minute of stoppage time, while Sunderland finished with 10 men after Reinildo Mandava was sent off following two yellow cards.
The victory gives Arsenal four wins from four matches and keeps them at the top of the Premier League table with 12 points, followed by Manchester City with 9 points, Hull City with 8 and Chelsea with 7.
In other results, Nottingham Forest beat Aston Villa 2-1, while Crystal Palace lost 3-2 to Ipswich Town.
Bournemouth drew 2-all with Brentford, Chelsea and Hull City also played out a 2-all draw, while Liverpool and Fulham, as well as Tottenham and Everton, played out goalless draws.
In tomorrow’s matches, Coventry City will face Brighton & Hove Albion at 1am, followed by the highly anticipated clash between Manchester United and Manchester City at 3:30am.
