Dreketi crowned FMF IDC Senior Division champions
Shah Group of Companies Dreketi FC have been crowned the 86th FMF Inter-District Championship Senior Division champions after defeating Bua FC 1-nil in the final at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Both teams started strongly, but neither side managed to score in the first half, with the match locked at nil-all at half-time.

Dreketi found the breakthrough in the second half with a goal from Viliame Koroikarawa in the 68th minute and held on to their lead despite Bua's efforts to find an equaliser.

Dreketi coach Ravinesh Singh says it was a tough match, but his players followed their game plan and achieved their mission.

Singh says the team went into the final determined to win, and the players delivered.

He says Dreketi last won the title in 2009, making this victory a long-awaited achievement for the team.

Singh also thanked the players and their sponsors, Shah Group of Companies, for their hard work and continued support.

Meanwhile, the Kiribati national football team and Seaqaqa FC are locked at 1-all at halftime in the Premier Division final.

The tournament will conclude with the highly anticipated FMF IDC Super Premier Division final between Dayals Steel Ba FC and Vantex Solutions Navua FC at 3pm.
