Dream debut for Fiji 7s duo in Singapore

It was a dream debut for Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s players Douglas Daveta and Nacani Boginisoko, who began their international careers on a winning note at the recent Singapore 7s.

While speaking to fijivillage Sports from Perth, Coach Osea Kolinisau says not many players win on debut, and tasting victory early will help both players develop their game.

Kolinisau described Daveta as a high-energy player, while Boginisoko brings the speed and physicality needed to break defensive lines.

Kolinisau says the duo’s confidence continues to grow as they prepare for the Perth 7s this weekend.

Fiji will face Argentina at 4.20pm Saturday, Spain at 7.36pm, and South Africa at 10.52pm.

The Cup semi-finals kick off at 4.57pm Sunday, with the Cup final scheduled for 9.04pm.
