Close ties between Fiji and Wales will add extra significance to the upcoming clash as the countdown to the Nations Championship continues, with just 47 days remaining before the Fiji Water Flying Fijians take on Wales at Cardiff City Stadium.

Fiji Rugby Union CEO Koli Sewabu visited the match venue and called on supporters to come out in numbers and cheer on the team in what will be Fiji’s first-ever Nations Championship appearance.

Sewabu says he felt blessed to visit the stadium and witness the historic occasion ahead of the tournament.

The former Flying Fijians loose forward also highlighted that the stadium’s seating capacity of more than 30,000 is expected to create a lively and passionate atmosphere for the players.

He says that the strong bilateral relationship and shared ties between Fiji and Wales will make the encounter a memorable and exciting contest.
