The current coach of the Fijiana 7s team and former Flying Fijian Saiasi Fuli is continuing to commit to the Suva rugby team.

He is now the technical adviser for the Suva teams which include the under 19, women's rugby team and the men's senior team where he lends his expertise to coaches Sakaraia Labalaba and Jope Tuikabe.

Fuli was the coach of Suva which beat Nadroga and claimed the Farebrother Sullivan Trophy in 2017.

He has also served as the Assistant Coach of the Fijian Drua and Fiji Men's National 7s team.

Fuli is also a former national 7s player.

In the team’s training session at the Bidesi and Buckhurst grounds yesterday, Fuli monitored the forwards and backline performance.

He even took videos of the training session.

Suva will travel down to Lautoka for the Skipper Cup Competition this week.

Lautoka will host Suva at Churchill Park at 3.30pm Saturday.

In other Skipper Cup matches, Namosi will face Nadi at 3.30pm Friday at Prince Charles Park, Nadroga will host Yasawa at 3pm Saturday at Lawaqa Park while Tailevu and Naitasiri face off at 3pm Saturday at Ratu Cakobau Park.
