Colo-i-Suva forest park temporarily closed

The Colo-i-Suva Forest Park is temporarily closed until further notice due to adverse weather conditions affecting the area.

The Ministry of Forestry say this precautionary measure has been implemented to ensure public safety, as ongoing heavy rainfall has increased the risk of slippery walking tracks, falling branches, flash flooding, and other hazardous conditions within the park.

They stressed that members of the public are strongly advised not to enter the park during this period and to comply with all safety advisories issued by the relevant authorities.

Further updates will be provided once weather conditions improve and the park is deemed safe for reopening.
