Dayal’s Sawmillers Ba FC have signed off their championship-winning 2026 Extra Premier League season with a 1-0 victory over Stratum Rewa FC at their home ground.
Ba was leading 1-0 at halftime.
Rusiate Doidoi scored the only goal for Ba to secure the win in front of their home supporters.
Ba had already secured the league title before today’s match, ending a seven-year wait for the national league championship.
The champions had to work hard for the result after Etonia Dogalau was sent off, leaving Ba with 10 players for the remainder of the match.
Rewa finishes the 2026 Extra Premier League season in third place, while Extra Supermarket Labasa finished runners-up.
Both Ba and Rewa will now turn their attention to the Extra Battle of the Giants, which kicks start from next weekend.
