A 51-year-old bus driver involved in a fatal accident at Naqoro, Rakiraki on Monday is yet to be charged and remains admitted to hospital.
Police have confirmed this to fijivillage News this morning.
They say that they also awaiting medical report for the bus driver.
The accident occurred on Monday at Naqoro, Rakiraki, when the bus allegedly veered onto the wrong side of the road and collided head-on with a vehicle driven by a man in his 40s from Ellington.
The victim was rushed to Rakiraki Hospital, where medical officials later confirmed his death.
Police say the bus was carrying students at the time of the accident.
The passengers in the bus, along with a 29-year-old woman who was travelling in the victim's vehicle, were taken to hospital for treatment and have been discharged.
