BSP Head of Audit Ilaitia Tuinamoala says the bank has supported the Frank Hilton Organisation for the past five to six years because of its work with children who need care and assistance.
Tuinamoala says the organisation provides BSP with a pathway to support children and families who need help.
He says initiatives such as the annual Bara Battle fundraiser are important because no one should be left to face challenges alone.

Tuinamoala says Fiji is one family, regardless of race or religion, and people who are in a position to help should share their opportunities with others.
He says children often cannot clearly express what they need or speak up for themselves, making it important for parents, caregivers and other adults to pay close attention to their needs.
Tuinamoala is encouraging families to reach out to the Frank Hilton Organisation and other relevant support organisations when children need assistance.
He says adults should not overlook opportunities that could help children receive support and achieve their potential in the future.
The Bara Battle captain's run will be held at 6am this Saturday, while the race will take place at 6am next Saturday at Albert Park.
